Let me introduce myself…

My name is Mark Smith and i’m the owner and principal therapist of The Body Therapy Centre. I became a professionally qualified Massage therapist in 2008, and started working for myself on a full time basis in 2010. I’m based in Swillington, Leeds, and have developed a large client base from all over Yorkshire, including Leeds, Wakefield, and Bradford.

Being a running enthusiast, I have the knowledge and experience of running injuries and any associated niggles. I have a very strong belief that massage therapy plays a fundamental role in injury prevention, which is why i recommend that it should become part of your training schedule on an ongoing basis.

Not only is Sports/Deep Tissue Massage beneficial for those who lead an active lifestyle, it’s also extremely beneficial for those who are experiencing upper back, lower back, and/or neck pain, as a result of sitting down at a desk, or for those who drive on a regular basis.

What can you expect?

My guarantee is that when you book in for a treatment, you will get the full duration as hands on treatment… not a long chat and short treatment.

How does a Sports / Deep Tissue massage help you?

Day to day activities such as sitting for long periods, driving, cycling, running and swimming, result in the build up of tension and toxins within the muscles. You may feel a burning or achy/heavy feeling in your muscles, which progressively gets worse with time.
